The Recipe thing.

Hey Karen and Angella. I read your comments about how to get the index going, and I viewed the html sourcing on your page, but I'm still a bit lost. Do you save your recipes elsewhere on the web, or as html pages on your comp and then just cut and paste the links like that? It's what it looked like to me, but I wasn't sure. I can't seem to find any defining code that separates one recipe from the other when I just enter them in as blog posts, so I'm thinking you link from your computer, am I even close?

We just link to the posts on our blog. Took me a while to figure out how to do it :)

Like on this blog of yours, on the bottom of each post is the time. If you click on it, then you are on the page for that particular post.

So then you add a link in your template to each post.

I'll first post a recipe as an entry, the "Publish"

Then I open the blog in a new window, and click on the link at the bottome to get me to the page for that post.

Then I go back to the other window, go into my template, and add a link to that post.

Is this making any sense???

:)

It makes total sense! I will conquer the index, I will prevail!

Karen is too kind - I've gotten most of my recipes from her.

And she's HOT to boot :)
